Spirit of Waiheke Wine & Whiskey Day Tour

Just 40 mins by ferry from Auckland, Waiheke Island is known as a wellspring of food, wine and spectacular scenery.

Join laid-back locals Jane and Darren (your guides for the day) and discover the best of Waiheke's vineyards.

About this Tour

Looking for a more spirited way to make your day on Waiheke wonder-full? Join us for the Wine & Whiskey Day Tour.

There is so much more to the Waiheke than just wine.

The island is also home to boutique distilleries and breweries and an abundance of world-class restaurants, all waiting for the chance to show you what’s on offer. All locally owned and operated, they produce an exceptional range of Gin, Craft Beers, Vodkas and Liqueurs (lucky we’re driving).

Mother nature is the star of the show when you’re here. Together we’ll explore the spectacular views of Oneroa and the Hauraki Gulf on the way to our first tasting stop.

If you’re arriving by ferry, we’ll meet you there at 10:40 am. If you’re already on the island, we can pick you up.

You get a choice of lunch options to suit your taste, listen to some great music (you can pick!), and you’ll learn about the region from us — your knowledgeable guides.

This tour is Fun (with a capital F)! Come and play!

Realise your true self at Wild Estate. With an award-winning wine called ‘Wanderlust’, no wonder they’re experts at taking your palate and your senses to places you never thought possible.

Know before you go:

  • Waiheke is a really big island, so there will be some driving between venues (no more than 20 mins)

  • Kiwi weather can be changeable (regardless of the season), best bring a jacket. If you prefer more time at each venue, you might like to consider a bespoke tour

  • Please be ready and waiting at your specified pick-up time as the tour has set times at each of the attractions visited and unfortunately cannot wait

  • This tour requires a minimum of 4 people
